The Edo South senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Don-Pax Osifo, on Tuesday said the party would shock other political parties by winning the district and other areas in the 2027 elections.
Speaking to journalists at the Benin Airport, where he was received by thousands of PDP supporters before a roadshow to the city centre, Osifo urged party faithful to close ranks and work for the party’s victory in the forthcoming election.
Accompanied by the Edo South Senatorial Chairman, Osaro Iselemon, Osifo stated that the primary election was over and that the party should put its differences behind it and prepare as one for the election.
He said that if elected, tackling insecurity and closing the infrastructural gap in the district would be his priorities.
